Introduction

The ART Training Scheme offers training, support and motivation to ringing teachers:

• New teachers quickly learn a range of techniques and skills that give them the confidence to teach and be successful.
• Experienced teachers refresh and build on your existing skills.
• Everyone benefits from the resources and ideas which meet people’s expectations of a hobby in this day and age.

To run the day courses, which form part of the ART Training Scheme, we need local course organisers who support our Tutors by:

• making arrangements for the tower, refreshments and lunch
• promoting the course locally
• using local knowledge to help the ART Tutor arrange suitable teacher/mentor pairings for after the course.
• providing on-the-day support for the ART Tutor (or arrange for someone else to undertake this role)
